Climb These Dangerous Mountains on the Earth Only Of You Dare

Mountaineering has remained to be one of the outdoor fun activities. It is however not an activity that is for all people. It is only for those who are determined to go to the top of the mountains. Only those who have the confidence to go those peaks can participate in this fun activity. Reaching the summit of the mountain is the most fulfilling thing that a mountaineer can achieve. It should however not be lost to you that mountaineering is not all about fun. It is one of the riskiest sports and deadliest ones. Many people have tried to climb different mountains on the earth and have died due to collapse and other risks. Others have become disabled as a result of tragic accidents on the mountains. If you truly love mountain climbing, you don’t have a reason to fear nevertheless. You should not try climbing one of the dangerous mountains on the earth if you are not an ardent mountain climber.

The deadliest mountain on the earth is the Mont Blank Massif. It boasts of 15782 ft and is the tallest on the alpine range. Steep rocks and rock slides have been claiming lives of climbers every year. It’s the fatality rate is the highest going to 100 people per year mark. Since history, it has claimed lives of 6000 people. President Theodore Roosevelt climbed the mountain in 1886 which has made it very popular.

The second mountain on the list is the Annapurna. It boasts a height of 26,246 ft. the Nepal Annapurna is the tallest peak that attracts climbers from everywhere. Since 1950, 191 people have successfully climbed this mountain. It has seen 60 people die as they try to reach the summit of Annapurna. For mountains with 8000 meters peak, it is considered as the most dangerous.

K2 is another mountain under focus and is the second tallest mount on the earth. Its location is on the border of Pakistan and China and has height of 28,251 ft. It is comparatively easier to climb Kilimanjaro than to climb K2. Even when you choose the easiest route, you will face ice pillars that can collapse, steep rocks and complicated glaciers. This mount seems to be biased against female climbers. Among the six female climbers that gave a trial to mount since 2003, five of them died.

There is the Nanga Parbat which has bad name of the man eater. It has a height of 26657 ft and located in Pakistan. It has enormous ridge of ice and rock. It is the ninth tallest mountain in the world and has the tallest mountain face. It has claimed the lives of 31 climbers by 1953.
